Storms & Rowdon Financial Services

Our investment process has evolved over the culmination of 60 plus years of combined industry experience. As you would expect, we have seen many ups and downs in the stock market as well as heard countless philosophies on making money in the market. Through our experience, we have found that there are a few key investment components that contribute to an investor having success: buying quality investments, having a diversified portfolio that is inline with one’s risk tolerance, and patience; but the greatest of these is patience. Our process uses high-quality, undervalued dividend-paying companies, and recommends that investors hold their dividend-paying companies for a buisness-cycle, normally 4-5 years, and allow them to bear fruit. While clients are holding these positions, they are being paid cash dividends with the hope of potential growth and possibility of a yearly dividend increase.

Our investment process is similar to that of a farmer planting crops. He must start with quality, viable seed that will grow. He must choose diversified crops that will grow in cooperation with each other in the areas needed. He must be patient while the crops grow, overseeing and making adjustments depending on the weather as well as treating the soil for pests and other potential hazards.

Likewise, our client portfolios are reviewed often, with adjustments and rebalances occurring as the market and economy ebbs and flows, while patiently awaiting the coming harvest.
